We first discovered NWOBHMers Cloven Hoof as young ‘uns going Metal full time. The Hoof’s monicker and imagery convinced us to grab their ’84 debut sound unheard. W’ve been HoofHeads ever since. With their latest album “Age Of Steel” dropping among the chaos, it was a opportune time to get main Hoofman Lee Payne on the horn. We discussed the new record, their spot in British metal history, and he shares the strange occurrences recording the aforementioned debut. Eerie stuff! Another long overdue “Bucket List” interview.
