Radioactive Metal 635: All Hail The King – interview with Brian Kingsland (Nile)

This week’s “Creature Feature” will be most familiar with listeners for his recent (ish) work with the mighty Nile. South Carolina metaller Brian Kingsland was tapped to join the legendary outfit in ’17 and swung his axe for last year’s “Vile Nilotic Rites”. But Mr. Kingsland is padding his resume elsewhere as well. His new project Imperishable dropped it’s first single in anticipation of a 2021 EP. The tune is so impressive, we had to get him on the horn. We discussed the new project, joining Nile, and he shares a story involving the wonderful world of wrasslin’. In our “News, Views and Tunes”, we discuss all this Cameo business, acknowledge the anniversary of the inspiration for “Smoke on The Water” and introduce the amazing DeathOrchestra!! Musically, we crank some new Terror, some classic Nile, Undeath, High Command, Anthropic, Urgehal, Bloody Hammers, the aforementioned DeathOrchestra and introduce Utah bashers Deathblow in our “Indie Spotlight”. Horns Up and Stay Healthy!
